Teenage SacrificeSacrifice is the core of every high school teenager’s life. According to the 2006 edition of the Encarta dictionary, sacrifice is the act of one giving up something of value to oneself. Every teenager has sacrificed something to be who they are and what they are to their peers and to themselves. Some have made small sacrifices and others have sacrificed almost everything. It is what and how much you sacrifice that places you in a certain status among the high school community. You are what you make yourself to be.   Teenagers will sacrifice a variety of things in order to obtain their desired status, either socially or mentally. Not Teenage Sacrifice

Faded SunBlackening night, fading sun  Left without light as the day is done  Stars do not twinkle in the dark sky  No light is left, no shooting stars fly

Beginning and EndSpeckled lights bright in the sky  Glare down at me with a knowing eye  They see the filth, the dirt and sins  So many things have gone awry  But they don’t see where it begins..   
From the deepest depths I’m stained  These stars are glaring at dirt contained  Missing the light beneath the soil  Misconceptions are sustained  While the results turn truth to spoil   
The prying eyes envision only dirt  Filth, disgust, sickness, my inner subvert  All of this is what I am left to contend  How shall I take these looks and avert  Knowing eyes that watch my end… Beginning and End

God, It's been forever

It seems to have been forever ago, hasn't it, My Lovelies? A year almost to the day since I posted any new work. I am sorry. I regret not sharing the things I have been working because yes, I have been working diligently. With each new piece my writing has improved and taken on some new aspect. I'm going to start placing novel exerpts up here. Short stories, essays, and remniscient tales have dominated me as of late. Things to work on during school, you know. My newest piece on here: Teenage Sacrifice. This essay is about everyone you know. It is about me. It is about you. Either now, in the future, or some time in the past, it applied to you. As you read it, name people I discuss. The first comment I recieved upon the piece said it best: Everyone can relate to this piece.
